Public Swimming Pools

The Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE) requires a permit when building a public swimming pool.

Please note that before EGLE can release a swimming pool license, all swimming pool fees (prior and current) will need to be paid in full. EGLE also must receive a current approved or conditional swimming pool inspection report conducted by the Local Health Department before a license can be released. If you have paid for your swimming pool license and have not received it in the mail, please contact Starla Walter.
