Municipal wastewater operator certification
Required by the Part 41, Sewerage Systems, administrative rules promulgated pursuant to Part 41, Sewerage Disposal and Waterworks Systems, of the Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Act, 1994 PA 451, as amended, Mich Admin Code, R 299.2901 et esq., all wastewater operator certification applicants that want to become certified at a classified facility must pass a written exam for certification, except as provided in Rule 299.2924(2). An operator must earn certification at the previous lower level to writing an exam at the A, B, or C level.
