This series highlights opportunities to take action as well as actions taking place around the state to implement the goals in the Plan. The target audience includes local and state government, nonprofits, community groups, universities, businesses, and anyone interested in taking climate action. Join us as we discuss specific actions and upcoming programs and opportunities designed to help leverage resources, build partnerships, and create meaningful and measurable steps to reaching our goals of 100% carbon neutrality by 2050 in Michigan.

Registration is now open for the 2024 MI Healthy Climate Conference! 

Building on the success of last year’s conference, the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE) is hosting this two-day event May 16-17, 2024, in Lansing to continue the mobilization of engaged stakeholders and review the actions being taken around the state to implement the goals in the MI Healthy Climate Plan.

This year's conference is expected to draw more than 500 attendees from local, state, federal, and tribal governments, universities, nonprofits, community groups, and businesses. The agenda includes time for inspiring plenary talks, breakout sessions, interactive office hours, and several networking opportunities, including a reception at the end of the first day.
