Lead service line replacement progress

Michigan's drinking water regulations require public water supplies to replace all lead and galvanized previously connected to lead (GPCL) service lines at the water supply's expense. Starting in January 2021, community water supplies with lead or GPCL service lines are required to replace these service lines within 20 years and submit an annual service line replacement report (ASLRR) to EGLE. The data on this page was compiled using ASLRRs submitted since 2021.
