Public Comment for Filter First Guidance Materials
Public comment period extended for Filter First documents
The Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE) and the Michigan Department of Lifelong Education, Advancement, and Potential (MiLEAP) is extending the 30-day period for public comments to Wednesday, April 3, 2024.
We welcome your comment on the newly translated Arabic and Spanish translated Drinking Water Management Plan (DWMP) template and guidance documents. Public feedback will help EGLE and MiLEAP ensure both documents are user-friendly and helpful for schools and child care centers in establishing and maintaining compliance with the Filter First legislation.
