Nonpoint Source Watershed Planning Request for Proposals (RFP) Fiscal Year (FY) 2026 Information

The Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE) Nonpoint Source (NPS) Program assists federal, state, and local partners to restore water bodies impaired by NPS pollution and protect high-quality waters from impairments caused by NPS pollution. The basis of this program is watershed management. We request proposals from watershed-based organizations to update or develop new watershed management plans that will help meet our program goals.

Two hundred twenty-four thousand dollars ($224,000) is available through this Request for Proposals (RFP). The minimum request is $25,000. Projects require a minimum local match from non-federal sources that is 10 percent (10%) of the project total.
