Dylan Gebhard

Legislative Liaison

Dylan Gebhard is the Legislative Liaison for the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE).

In this role, Dylan oversees the Office of Legislative Affairs, representing the department on pending legislation and leading the development and implementation of EGLE's legislative priorities.

Prior to joining EGLE, Dylan held key roles in the Michigan Legislature, including in the office of former Majority Floor Leader Abraham Aiyash and State Representative Alabas Farhat. While in the Majority Floor Leader’s office, Dylan contributed to the passage of the landmark Clean Energy and Jobs Act, which set Michigan on a path to carbon neutrality.

In addition to his legislative experience, Dylan served at the Michigan Department of Education, working in the Office of Public and Governmental Affairs to support statewide education policy and communications.

Dylan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Michigan State University, where he remains an active alum. He lives in East Lansing with his partner and their two cats. In his free time, Dylan enjoys playing soccer and exploring Michigan’s wondrous outdoors.
