EGLE seeks recruiting and internship specialist

The Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE) is seeking a recruiting and internship specialist.

“This position is responsible for developing and implementing a strategy to attract and retain top talent through effective marketing and collaboration with human resources and department leadership,” says Jovita Moffett, State Administrative Manager, in EGLE’s Environmental Support Division.

This position will make an impact by carrying out EGLE’s commitment to creating a diverse workforce that facilitates an inclusive environment and fosters a shared sense of belonging.

In addition to the recruiting responsibilities, this position will administer the internship program by providing high quality internship experiences that benefit both the individual and the department.

“This recruitment and internship position has a vital role in helping EGLE build a future for Michigan that respects people, treasures natural resources, and fosters thriving communities throughout our two peninsulas by promoting environmental careers and attaining talent,” Moffett added.
