EGLE is holding a public comment period regarding Ford Motor Company – Blue Oval Battery Plant’s proposed Permit to Install from July 9 until August 13, 2026.

Air permit application package No. PKG-0000902 is a request to make several modifications to the final design of the lithium-ion battery plant currently under construction.

Informational session and hearing

An online informational session and public hearing will be held on August 11, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. The public hearing will be to take formal testimony on the record.
