MiEnviro for Everyone – Searching for information on sewer system spills
Ever wonder what happens when sewage from sewer systems is released to the environment from heavy rainfall, blocked sewers, or equipment malfunction? Combined Sewer Overflows (CSOs) and Sanitary Sewer Overflows (SSOs) can impact water quality and public health. These events are required to be reported to EGLE and made available to the public.
In this webinar, you’ll learn how to use MiEnviro, Michigan’s environmental data portal, to:
• Find CSO and SSO event reports quickly and easily.
• Understand the causes and potential impacts of these events.
After registering, you will receive an email from "EGLE Outreach" with a link for you to use to join the webinar.
