Overview:
Participants will receive detailed individualized instruction utilizing their specific Android device, learn how to navigate their device properly utilizing the device’s accessibility features. Participants will also learn the various accessible apps, learn how to explore them, their benefits, practice them and assess the best apps and accessibility settings to fully maximize benefits of the device to the participant.
Overall Goal:
- Accessing the accessibility
- Initial setup, troubleshooting & toggling on and off
- Who is your digital assistant and how to properly use your digital assistant
- The full basics, initial controls, Talkback, Zoom and Select to Speak features
- Two-part gestures and customizations
- Exploring new apps and GPS
- Learn the common apps such as: Uber, Lyft, Google maps, and AIRA
- Customize ongoing training based on individualized goals for the participant to include the more complex functions and shortcuts of the Android platform
