Andrew Spencer
Andrew was looking to find assistance in getting employment as he had just graduated high school and had little work experience. He also needed to overcome his fear of interviewing - the Young Professionals program was ideally suited for Andrew's needs.
After finishing the workshop portion of the Young Professional Program - which included writing a resume, interview tips, mock interviews and actual interviews with potential employers - Andrew was set up an interview with Medilodge of Sterling to begin a work experience as he was interested in working as a dietary aid.
After Andrew's interview, Medilodge was very interested in having him join their team. Corporate policies prevented Medilodge from extending an unpaid work experience opportunity to Andrew, however - so Medilodge offered Andrew a paid position as a dietary aid, and he gladly accepted the job!
