Background of The Emergency Management and Homeland Security Training Center
The Emergency Management and Homeland Security Training Center (EMHSTC) provides training to first responders from state and local governments, as well as private entities.
The EMHSTC first opened in 1991 through partnerships with local and private entities and the Michigan State Police. Since then, our facility trains responders annually and has also provided countless hours of hands-on and classroom-based training opportunities. Our highly skilled team of instructors work to continually develop training that is relevant to the ever-changing situations responders will encounter.
