The application period re-opened at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, August 22, 2022, and closed at 5 p.m. on Friday, September 2, 2022. The grant performance period will be October 1, 2022, through September 30, 2023.

The Michigan State Police will submit the state Byrne JAG application to the U.S. Department of Justice, Bureau of Justice Assistance. Per federal requirements, comments regarding this application are accepted for a 30-day period beginning August 1, 2022 and ending August 31, 2022. The application will be available from August 1, 2022, until August 31, 2022.
