The owners and operators of property that is contaminated are required to take actions to ensure that the contamination does not cause unacceptable exposures and assure the safe use of the property. The Remediation and Redevelopment Division is committed to working with owners, operators, and purchasers to protect public health and safety.

Due care FAQ

Pursuant to MCL 324.21316, EGLE RRD requires that all submittals be provided using the appropriate submittal form, many of which are only available via the Remediation Information Data Exchange (RIDE).
