The Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy’s (EGLE) Laboratory Services is a full-service drinking water and environmental testing laboratory with broad scientific capabilities supporting Michigan’s residents, water supplies, the State of Michigan’s drinking water and environmental cleanup programs, and other local, state, and federal partners, holding certification with the United States Environmental Protection Agency (U.S. EPA) and accreditation with The National Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Conference (NELAC) Institute.

Drinking Water Laboratory
The Drinking Water Laboratory offers services for the analysis of drinking water quality.
Environmental Laboratory
The Environmental Laboratory is the only state-run environmental laboratory for analyzing environmental samples for state government facilities.
