FAQ: Miscellaneous

From time to time, we (EGLE) receive questions about topics that fall outside our agency’s responsibilities. To help guide you in the right direction, here’s a list of commonly asked questions that should be directed to other agencies.

  • How do I cancel my campsite reservation?

EGLE does not handle reservations for recreational campground or campsite use; the Michigan Department of Natural Resources (DNR) does.

You can easily modify or cancel your camping reservation online at MiDNRReservations.com or by calling 800-447-2757. Visit the DNR's camping FAQ for more information, including any fees that may apply.
