EGLE is holding a public comment period on a draft Renewable Operating Permit (ROP) renewal from October 12 until November 12, 2026 for the draft renewal of a Renewable Operating Permit (ROP) for the operation of fossil fuel electrical power generation facility. 

The permit is intended to simplify and clarify the facility’s applicable requirements and will result in any air emission changes at the stationary source.

The responsible official of the stationary source is Thomas Clift, 2400 Miller Road, Dearborn, MI 48121.

The decision maker for the permit is Julie Brunner, ROP Central Unit Supervisor.
