About the 2021 Job Fairs
For the 2021 job fairs, we are pleased to announce a partnership with the Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity (LEO). This new partnership will leverage LEO's expertise in hosting virtual job fairs to ensure a smoother, more robust experience for both employers and job seekers, by utilizing a new platform, Brazen, to ensure Michigan can continue to meet the demands of employers and job seekers - virtually! Please note: Brazen works best with the Google Chrome web browser, so please download the latest version prior to participating.
Information for Job-Seekers
Job-seekers can virtually connect with school districts from across the state. Registration is free. It is recommended that job-seekers log on to the platform in advance of the event to upload a resume and complete a profile, including any current areas of certification.

Information for Employers
Employers will each be given a "virtual booth" at no cost. Districts who were not selected for the March 3 job fair have been added to a waitlist and will receive priority registration for the June and August dates. Registration for the June job fairs opens in Spring 2021.
Signing up as an employer gives you access to:
- Highlighting the mission & benefits of your school or organization
- Summarizing your current job opportunities & programs
- Posting a video about your school or organization
- Chatting with job seekers
New feature! Scheduled Chats: Prior to an event, you can review Registrants' resumes and send out invitations to them to choose from any of your available Scheduled Chat time slots. This feature allows candidates to be paired with a specific booth representative. Time slots are automatically generated based on the Scheduled Chat settings determined by the event host. Candidates simply choose a time slot that works for them to have a Scheduled Chat with you.
Following registration, the booth owner will receive additional information about status on the waiting list or about setting up the booth and adding representatives.
- Register as an employer for a booth (Registration coming soon!)
- Booth owners: See how information will be presented in your booth
- Representatives: Participate as a representative
- How to search and invite registrants
- How to audio/video chat with an attendee
- Brazen help center
- Weekly Brazen training for booth owners and representatives
Registration is free but is considered a commitment to attend as there is a limit on the number of available booths. If you need to cancel, please contact Shelby Lee at LeeS11@Michigan.gov. Please note, because these job fairs utilize a new platform, registrations do not carry over from previous job fairs, including the Fall 2020 event. Job providers will need to re-register for the 2021 education work force job fairs.
