Literacy Assessments

In January 2026, MDE will open an additional K-3 screening and progress monitoring assessment Request for Submission (RFS) that will remain open until September 30, 2026. MDE will conduct reviews of submissions and update the list using the following schedule:

Literacy Instruction and Materials

In March 2026, MDE will open an evidence-based Tier 1, class-wide elementary reading curricula RFS that will remain open until September 30, 2026. MDE will conduct reviews of submissions and update the lists using the following schedule:
