Active Students Toolkit
Introduction to the Active Students Toolbox In November of 2012 the State Board of Education in Michigan approved a revised model policy on Physical Education and Physical Activity in Schools. Research has shown that students who are physically active are better able to pay attention in class and, therefore, more likely to achieve academically. This web site is focused on helping schools implement this newly revised, comprehensive policy.
