What is Restorative Practices?
Restorative practices or restorative justice (RJ) is an approach to addressing conflict and misconduct that focuses on healing rather than punishment and values accountability over exclusion.
Implementing Restorative Practices in Schools
The Michigan Department of Education developed Restorative Practices Modules to provide school districts and schools with guidance and resources to help them integrate restorative practices into schoolwide climate, discipline, equity, and teaching and learning practices. These modules do not constitute a training. They are for informational purposes only.
