EGLE grants and loan dashboard updated, information added to Open Data Portal for first time
April 25, 2023
The Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE) has updated its Grants and Loans Dashboard to now include Fiscal Year 2022 in addition to the previously featured 2019, 2020, 2021 data. The dashboard showcases where funding was disbursed from EGLE to municipalities and other entities.

The interactive dashboard provides access to a rich dataset of information, where users can search for projects funded in their community and look at funding trends.
The money flowing back to municipal governments and other entities help those communities protect the environment and public health through projects as diverse as water treatment equipment upgrades to flood control infrastructure.
EGLE has also made the data used in the dashboard available on its EGLE Open Data Portal for the first time ever. The portal is the centralized location for all of EGLE’s public geographic information systems (GIS) content, including interactive web maps and downloadable data. Data available here can be easily viewed as a table or downloaded.
