Michigan Coastal Management Program (MCMP) will conduct an informational webinar on the 2028 MCMP Grant Funding Opportunity application requirements, program funding objectives and priorities. The MCMP provides grant funds to assist in the development of vibrant and resilient coastal communities through the protection and restoration of our sensitive coastal resources and biologically diverse ecosystems.

The MCMP seeks projects that protect community character and revitalize ports and harbors; plan for growth and change in our coastal communities to strengthen economies and minimize risk from coastal hazards; protect and restore healthy coastal ecosystems; devise solutions for the nature-based solutions to slow the flow of stormwater; and enhance public access while protecting critical natural infrastructure.

The MCMP anticipates approximately $1,000,000 in grant awards to be available for creative coastal planning and implementation projects.
