The Fiscal and Administrative Services Team (FAST) has overall responsibility for the fiscal integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of state and federal Child Nutrition Program meal reimbursement payments to schools and other participating entities. Responsibilities involve receiving, accounting, disbursing, and reporting functions necessary for Federal reimbursements and State Supplemental Aid monies annually. The Fiscal Monitoring Team works within the FAST Unit. That team is responsible for training, technical assistance, and Resource Management reviews of school sponsors’ financial practices. Dedicated staff assist program sponsors with financial integrity, equipment requests, excess fund balances, the Equipment Assistance Grant, and year end reporting within the Financial Information Database (FID) School Meals Report for public school sponsors, the School Lunch Year End Report (SLYER) for non-public school sponsors, and the Year End Report for non-school Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) sponsors.
