Districts should complete the 2024-2025 SE-4159 Bus Logs during the pupil transportation count week (September 30-October 4, 2024) similar to previous years. The updated SE-4159-SL and SE-4159-RL are available below with instructions regarding how to appropriately count ridership and fill out the form.
The Transportation Expenditure Report (SE-4094) is a collection within the Center for Educational Performance and Information (CEPI) Financial Information Database (FID) application. Information on the FID collections can be found on the CEPI website.

Login to the FID to submit your information. If you do not have an account set up, you will need to request access to the application through your MILogin account (see SE-4094 User Guide for detailed instructions).
The dates for all collections can be found on the CEPI master calendar. Section 18 of the State School Aid Act requires each intermediate school district (ISD), local education agency (LEA), and public school academy (PSA) to submit the SE-4094 by not later than one week after the last business day in September of each year. Section 18 also requires the ISD certify the cost report for all of its member districts. Submissions are due to ISDs two weeks prior for their approval.
Expenditures reported under the regular/vocational education column of the SE-4094 are reviewed and approved by the Michigan Department of Education (MDE) Office of Health and Safety (OHS).
Expenditures reported under the specialized transportation Section 52 and Section 53a columns of the SE-4094 are reviewed and approved by the MDE Office of Special Education (OSE).
