Glenna West, age 34, was last seen near 101 Church Street in St. Joseph, Michigan, at approximately 11:30 p.m. on November 24, 1977. Her purse was reportedly located the same day at the Holiday Inn, now known as the Silver Beach Hotel.
Information in the original investigation suggested West may have been driving a greenish-brown American-made full-sized station wagon from the 1960s or early 1970s. At the time of her disappearance, West was reportedly distraught and left behind four young children.
