During the late evening hours of Friday, October 12, 2007, the body of 60-year-old David Laya Sr. was discovered at his residence on Bissonette Rd in Curtis Twp., Alcona County, MI. It is believed that Laya died on 10/12/07, with the circumstance and evidence indicating that Laya was the victim of a homicide. Mr. Laya was well known in Glennie, Hale, Mio, Comins, and McKinley areas. Laya also had strong ties to Capac, MI and the Lapeer County area.
