Fallen Trooper Memorial
February 17, 1968 – December 9, 2021
Sergeant Todd L. Leveille passed away on December 9, 2021. His death was the result of a duty-related exposure to the COVID-19 virus, believed to have been contracted while performing his duty assignment at the Lapeer Post.
Sergeant Leveille began his career with the MSP in 1995, graduating from the 111th Trooper Recruit School. Over his 25- year career Sergeant Leveille held assignments at the Richmond, Metro South, and Lapeer posts. He ran the D.A.R.E program early in his career and earned the Trooper of the Year award in 2005.
Sergeant Leveille is the 55th MSP officer to die in the line of duty.
