EGLE is holding a public comment period from July 20, 2026 until August 19, 2026 on a draft ROP renewal for Emerald RNG LLC (P1488), Northville, Washtenaw County, (SRN: P1488). If requested in writing by August 19, 2026, a public hearing may be scheduled.

This is regarding the draft renewal of a Renewable Operating Permit (ROP) for the operation of a Renewable Natural Gas processing plant. The permit is intended to simplify and clarify the facility’s applicable requirements and will result in any air emission changes at the stationary source.  

The responsible official of the stationary source is Suparna Chakladar, 5087 Junction Road, Lockport, NY 14094.

The decision maker for the permit is Scott Miller, EGLE AQD Jackson District Supervisor.
