LANSING – The Nov. 10 State Board of Education meeting has been moved to a different location on the campus of the Genesee Intermediate School District.
The meeting will be at the Genesee Intermediate School District Davis Education Center Legacy Auditorium, 2413 West Maple Ave., Flint, MI 48507, which is on the same property and campus as the building where the meeting was originally scheduled.
As part of an effort to improve public engagement, the State Board of Education is taking its November meeting on the road to the Flint area.
The Nov. 10 meeting begins at 9:30 a.m., with public comment at 1 p.m. State Board of Education meetings typically last until about 4 p.m.
Board meetings are usually held at the John A. Hannah Building in Lansing.
The meeting agenda will be posted in advance on the State Board of Education’s Agendas webpage.
