This annual conference is open to all educators, administrators, counselors, as well as business and community leaders. The 2-day event offers innovative breakouts and techniques you cannot find at another conference. Participants network with educators from around the state and visit with vendors who offer state-of-the-art techniques and technology to take career training to another level. With over 100 breakout sessions, participants have ample choices to learn about career development, innovative best practices and successful CTE programs around the state that help promote strong student achievement. CEPD and local CTE administrators are expected to attend.
MDE-OCTE is excited to share new student-produced videos from last year's conference - created by talented students from East Kentwood High School and Harbor Springs High School—that highlight the incredible learning experiences that define the Michigan Career Education Conference (MICEC). Please help us spread the word about MICEC by sharing these videos and social media posts widely within your network of CTE teachers, building administrators, counselors, advisory committees, and community partners.
