What is CTE Month? 

Career and Technical Education Month®, or CTE Month®, is a public awareness campaign that takes place each February to celebrate the value of CTE and the achievements and accomplishments of CTE programs across the country.

Michigan CTE Month Resources

New for CTE Month 2026: The Michigan Department of Education Office of Career and Technical Education (MDE-OCTE), in collaboration with the Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity Workforce Development (LEO-WD), is excited to host its first podcast competition for CTE and CTE Early Middle College (EMC) students in Michigan! The podcast competition is an opportunity to highlight student talent and to increase student engagement during CTE Month. For more information and to review the scoring rubric, download this flyer.
