The Michigan School Grades System assigns each public school in Michigan letter grades and ranking labels, based on the school's annual performance in up to eight areas as prescribed by Michigan Public Act 601 of 2018. Note: The requirement in Michigan Law to annually determine and publish School Grades for Michigan public schools was repealed by Act 34 of 2023. As such, School Grades reports for the 2022-23 school year will be the last year of publication for this report.
2022-23 School Grades reports were available for authorized district and school users to preview on MI School Data from December 11-18, 2023.
2022-23 School Grades reports are now publicly available and no longer under embargo.
