BTBL Network of Libraries
The Braille and Talking Book Library (BTBL) is the regional library serving all Michigan residents as a part of the National Library Service for the Blind and Print Disabled (NLS) network.
Within Michigan, we also have Advisory and Outreach Centers (AOCs) throughout the state. The purpose of the AOCs is to provide localized outreach and support to our patrons within their serving counties. AOC libraries can assist patrons within their service area with everything from getting signed up for the service, to ordering books, updating patron records, BARD support, and more. As the regional library, BTBL has access to all patron records, and can assist patrons throughout the entire state.
