Internships with MRS
Michigan Rehabilitation Services (MRS) is a public agency within the Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity and is responsible for the State’s public vocational rehabilitation program. MRS provides personalized vocational rehabilitation services for eligible individuals with disabilities to prepare them for employment and help them achieve economic self-sufficiency. MRS welcomes college and university students to apply for an MRS internship participating in master’s level programs such as Rehabilitation Counseling, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, and Occupational Therapy.
Internships with MRS provide:
- Real-world experience shaping meaningful outcomes for the individuals we serve.
- An opportunity to share academic knowledge.
- Practice working side-by-side with professional, Master’s-level vocational rehabilitation counselors.
Internships with MRS are unpaid.
