Residential construction in Michigan has experienced growth within the past few years, which has contributed to the higher injury rates and fatalities in construction. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the percentage of residential fatalities in construction has increased by 5% in the past year. The following resources have been developed to assist employers and employees in protecting their workers from common hazards associated with residential construction.
