There are many ways patrons can order books from BTBL, and it is all about finding the method that is right for you. Call us at 800-992-9012 during business hours and we will be happy to help you choose materials. Or find books yourself using one of the following methods:
For access to our local OPAC, you will need a valid email address. Call the library to create an account. Once created, you will be able to log-in and browse our collection to select titles you'd like sent. To search for books without having to create a log-in, you can visit the national catalog: National Library Service Voyager Catalog.
Download books yourself any time of the day- no waiting for the mail, no due dates!
This enables registered patrons of participating Michigan Libraries for the Blind and Physically Handicapped to submit book requests, which arrive to BTBL staff via email.
Requests are usually processed in 2-3 business days. You will need to be an active patron of BTBL to order books. All information provided is kept strictly confidential.
