4-H STEAM Corps
4-H STEAM Corps is a statewide AmeriCorps program hosted by Michigan State University Extension. It places full-time and half-time members in county MSUE offices across the state to provide science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics (STEAM) programming to local youth. The program is a collaboration between national service members and county 4-H programs to reach undeserved youth and improve attitudes toward STEAM subjects. Members plan, implement and evaluate 4-H SPIN Clubs. Additionally, they recruit, screen, train, place and support volunteers.
