Flint Community School Corps
The Crim Fitness Foundation supports a Community School Corps comprised of AmeriCorps State and VISTA members who provide during/after-school and summer learning activities for K-12 grade students and build capacity for community education in Flint area schools. The Flint Community School Corps (FCSC) - AmeriCorps State project has 28 member slots and serves 13 Flint area schools. FCSC members prioritize mentoring scholars and creating community within schools. The project is hosted by the Crim Fitness Foundation as a part of the Flint Community Education Initiative.
