Huron Pines AmeriCorps
Huron Pines AmeriCorps
Members will improve 600 acres of public land and provide environmental education and stewardship opportunities to 5,000 community members. These efforts will result in better community awareness of invasive species, land management, and natural resource protection. AmeriCorps members will leverage an additional 800 volunteers to improve at-risk ecosystems that are integral to the Great Lakes Watershed and increase behavioral changes that lead directly to the improvement of at-risk ecosystems in Michigan. Huron Pines AmeriCorps has 23 members located throughout Michigan.
