The Governor's Service Awards, one of Michigan's most prestigious volunteer recognition events, are presented annually to celebrate Michigan's volunteers. Hosted by Michigan's governor each year, the event includes a reception for award winners and sponsors followed by an awards presentation. 

The Governor's Service Awards provide excellent opportunities for corporate sponsors to demonstrate their commitment to volunteers and local communities. For more than 25 years, the Michigan Community Service Commission (MCSC) has supported Michigan volunteers, organizations and businesses that are committed to service and play a critical role in improving the lives of people and our communities. To recognize those who go above and beyond, Michigan’s governors have presented the Governor’s Service Awards since 1994.

We request your organization join an elite group of sponsors and the Governor to support volunteerism and service in Michigan.  All proceeds will help support the MCSC's volunteer and service initiatives, including youth & mentoring, AmeriCorps, disaster preparedness, national days of service grants, along with supporting the Governor Service Awards event.

Governor’s Service Awards Tribute
