American Indian Health and Family Services
American Indian Health and Family Services
Since 1978, American Indian Health & Family Services (AIHFS) has been a nonprofit health and community wellness center. AIHFS has initiated a comprehensive project to construct a modern, culturally-engaging healthcare facility in Southeastern Michigan, aimed at expanding access to essential healthcare and promoting community well-being through a harmonious blend of contemporary practices and indigenous traditions. The project, designed with community input and supported by the AIHFS volunteer Board of Directors' strategic plan, seeks to address the lack of building space, required upkeep, and the growing needs of the community, positioning AIHFS to continue as a major service provider in seven counties of southeastern Michigan.
