Amplify GR is a place-based nonprofit committed to preserving and widening pathways so that neighbors in southeast Grand Rapids can participate in and benefit from community growth. Working through people, partnership and place, we uplift community priorities and assets to advance economic opportunity, mixed-income housing, education, and community well-being. The Michigan Community Center grant is supporting the construction of HUB 07, a 45,000 square foot “front porch and living room” in the Boston Square Neighborhood of Grand Rapids. HUB 07 will open in late 2024 and serve thousands annual through an early childhood education center, a health clinic, community space and café, a financial health suite, dedicated spaces for afterschool programming and multi-generational enrichment and wellness, and a co-lab suite for smaller, grassroots organizations to scale their impact.
