City of Harrison
The City of Harrison, located in Clare County, Michigan, is undertaking a transformative enhancement of the Harrison City Park. This initiative is a collaboration between the City Engineering firm, local stakeholders, and community members, aimed at addressing the evolving recreational needs of Harrison’s residents.
The heart of this capital project is the comprehensive upgrade of the city’s park facilities. Key improvements include the resurfacing and expansion of existing tennis and pickleball courts, which is responding to a significant community demand. The addition of new pickleball courts aims to accommodate the sport's growing popularity among residents.
Furthermore, the city is committed to inclusivity and accessibility; hence, the project incorporates the construction of an ADA-compliant playscape. This new feature is designed to cater to children of varying abilities, promoting intergenerational play and enhancing community connections.
