Frenchtown Center for Active Adults
Frenchtown Center for Active Adults
Frenchtown Center for Active Adults is a multi-purpose center where older adults come to socialize and join in a host of exercise programs, recreational opportunities, meals, health-related information sharing, and a place to come and enjoy the entertainment. Also provided is Adult Day Care, where caregivers can comfortably leave their loved ones in a safe, secure environment under the care of a trained staff, giving the caregiver an opportunity for respite. The Center has provided year-round programming in the Frenchtown Township Recreation Center located just North of the Township Hall since 1979. The grant will ensure the building remains a functional, safe, secure, friendly, and trusted facility to provide a nutritious meal, healthy opportunities, respite, and care for 1,300 members and all Monroe County older adults.
