Indian River Area Library Tuscarora Township Tuscarora Police Department
Indian River Area Library/Tuscarora Township/Tuscarora Police Department
This grant is a collaborative effort between the organizations of Tuscarora Township, the Indian River Area Library, and the Tuscarora Township Police Department. These three organizations all share a community center building together, Tuscarora Township Hall, in the heart of downtown Indian River. Tuscarora Township serves over 3,000 residents and the library serves over 4,000 patrons, including those from outlying townships that do not have their own town libraries. Tuscarora Township Hall is used for everything from government meetings to library programs and events, club meetings, support groups, environmental groups, community committees and charities, blood drives, and youth activities. By expanding the current building to support additional community space, the Township will be able to provide essential public areas for the community to gather and continue to improve Tuscarora as a whole.
