The Rural Development Fund Board, housed in the Office of Rural Prosperity, has oversight of the Rural Development Fund. The Board is charged with advising the Office on how to distribute tax revenue collected from mines to improve and strengthen local communities. Director is a voting member and makes final decision on projects (Public Act 411 of 2012).

Overview
Career Development & Rehabilitation Counseling class provides individualized instruction designed to support each participant in developing a realistic vocational goal that aligns with their strengths, interests, functional abilities, and accommodation needs. This process emphasizes informed decision‑making, self‑understanding, and preparation for employment or further training. Participants will learn to identify their vocational strengths, understand functional limitations, explore suitable career options, and determine the accommodations and supports necessary for long‑term success. Through structured assessment, skill development, and coordinated service planning, individuals leave with a clear, actionable vocational plan that positions them for meaningful and sustainable employment.
