Where is my internet?
With Michigan’s largest federally funded broadband expansion in history, it’s on its way.
Reliable high-speed internet opens the door to better healthcare, education, jobs and opportunities. And now, through the BEAD program, Michigan is working to connect unserved and underserved communities across the state. That means nearly every resident will soon have access to reliable and affordable internet.
Why is Michigan investing?
Today, many Michigan residents still lack access to reliable, affordable high-speed internet. This federally funded program is helping bring broadband infrastructure to communities that have historically been left behind.
What can you expect during construction?
Broadband construction is already underway. As broadband infrastructure is built across Michigan, you may see:
- Construction crews working in your area
- Utility markings and flags
- Temporary lane or shoulder closures
- Equipment installation activity
The work may cause a temporary inconvenience, but it is part of bringing long-term connectivity to your community.
