This report details demographic, occupation, wage, industry, and program information, and builds and expands upon previous Registered Apprenticeship reports published by the Michigan Center for Data and Analytics (MCDA).
Michigan is a national leader in Registered Apprenticeships, ranking fourth in the U.S. with more than 24,000 active apprentices. These programs provide a high-ROI pathway to 500,000 projected jobs by 2032.
Employers accelerate right-skills development, transfer knowledge from current to future workers, and appreciate a 94% retention rate. Workers earn a competitive wage while learning from experienced mentors, avoid tuition dept, and earn a Nationally Recognized Credential upon completion.
